Ryan is a member of Regent Law’s family law and commercial litigation teams. He assists clients through all facets of family law issues, including divorce, custody, and equitable distribution (property division).  Before joining Regent Law, Ryan served eight years as Director of Legal Advocacy at Safe Alliance, representing thousands of victims of domestic violence in Mecklenburg County.  Ryan is a certified Parenting Coordinator.  Parenting Coordinators work with parents to reduce conflict, improve communication skills, and teach co-parenting techniques.

Ryan’s commercial litigation practice involves helping clients resolve construction disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and other disputes arising from contracts and business relationships. Ryan has experience litigating leases, construction contracts, and other contracts related to the operation or management of businesses. 

Ryan enjoys golfing and spending time with his family in his free time. Ryan is also an avid sports fan and usually can be found cheering on the Wolfpack, Dolphins, and Yankees
